Governance gives another chance ...

Negative narrative, false polarisation in the name of caste/creed and religion attempt by the Lutenys media and the Tukde Tukde gang could not trump honesty and a genuine effort by our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to take India to the great heights it so rightly deserves. A mere 5 years post the land mark win on a promise, he delivered ....

  • A governance devoid of corruption in the central government
  • Breakneck speed in taking decisions that change the structural landscape
  • International relations at an all time high ... Dont mess with India ..
I along with all my fellow Indians who voted for Mr Modi believe the governance will be taken to greater heights and are proud to give it another chance.

Governance in Progress?

The tell tale signs of an efficient machinery in the Indian Government coming together are visible or is it an illusion? But then what is real[ity]?

To quote Morpheus from Matrix "What is real? How do you define 'real'? If you're talking about what you can feel, what you can smell, what you can taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain."

Right now philosophy and physics aside, my brain tells me we are in the right path. I am just grinning ear to ear ... maybe i am in a state of euphoria reading the news articles on the way our new Prime Minister is doing things. This is where reality issue comes to the forefront .. it is to do with trust. Too many times the media gets strong-armed into providing biased opinion.. I hope it is not the case.

It is about time people worked .. It is definitely about time the politicians worked . problem is we expect the government to do its job .. and take things for granted.

Take for example the simple case of chocolate wrappers being thrown without a second thought .. Next day the same people complain of dirty roads, dirty neighborhoods/locality and blame the civic corporation for not doing their job. If ONLY we we do our bit and stop pointing fingers, our Prime Minister will be a lot more successful.

I believe grass root education of basic civic sense and empathy towards others is what will really carry our nation forward. Until that becomes a reality .. everything will be just an illusion!!!

I have been and still do my bit .. do you or rather most importantly will you??

Ab ki baar Modi Sarkar

FINALLY .. Common sense prevailed in India. Am so hoping the path to progress and the possibility of India being a real superpower is finally underway.  The progress begins with one word .. thought .. and this thought if even fulfilled by a certain percentage, I will be happy.
India with all the brains, the natural resources and the man power had absolutely stalled in the face of blatant corruption. 60 years of misrule .. false ideologies and no accountability for whatever goes mentality. This has now paved way for some semblance of hope.

I join the rest of the Indians to congratulate Mr Modi on a fantastic victory. I did my part by traveling to Mangalore to vote for Modi. I did not even know the name of the candidate in my constituency. This was nothing but a Modi tsunami. For all those who still pretend it is not so .. well .. get a grip on reality.

Fireflies !!!

An amazing experience .. nothing short of a spectacle. An all night music festival in the otherwise non-existent night life in Bangalore. This is the official website "http://www.fireflies.org.in/".
Wikipedia has got a nice write up to actually bring out the real essence of it.

Progress???

Its going to be a year soon since i moved back to India after being overseas for about 10 years. I thought the onset of IT companies in India and the rapid growth in the private sector would have had an impact on corruption. It still seems to be going on unabated. A connection inside the concerned office or money power to pay the touts are the only way to get things done.
Yes, a few things have definitely changed, its easy to get a passport, paying of parking fines can be done on the net, the amazing vajra service in Bangalore etc !! So progress?? I would say yes but at a snail's pace. Its only fair to say that it is indeed happening but, it will be a few decades to sort things out.
